We are gathered for a reason that serves no purpose.
Not by nation. Not by ethnicity. Not by faith. Not by gain.
Simply because we share a name, we have become connected —
with Milica Jovanović and her namesakes in Serbia,
with Kovács Balázs and his namesakes in Hungary.
We have found friends across the world.

A shared name means nothing. It is good for nothing.
It is, quite simply, useless.
And so we raise this banner: 無駄無用 — embrace the useless.

Conflict always begins with meaning and usefulness.
Friend or enemy? Useful or threatening? To be seized, or defended?
The habit of dividing people by meaning and worth
is the very root of violence.

So, in this age of division and solitude,
let us connect through what is useless instead.
When the world joins hands through something as pointless
as a shared name, there is nothing left to fight over.
Because it is meaningless, it sows no seeds of conflict.
Because it is useless, it harms no one.

This is our principle of peace.

Today, the world worships efficiency and usefulness
as never before. And so, deliberately, we say:

All You Need Is MUDA.
What you need is the useless.

Not cleverness, but foolishness.
Not the useful, but the useless.
Not meaning, but muda — this is how we connect to the world.

We are all Hirokazu Tanaka.
And every one of us shares a name with someone.
